Pacific Coatings Show 2025 Encourages Investment And Paint Industry Innovation In Southeast Asia

JAKARTA The global paint and coating industry is looking at new growth opportunities as demand for environmentally friendly and energy efficient products increases.

This momentum will be the main focus in the Pacific Coatings Show & Conference (PCS) 2025, which will be held on October 29, 2025 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The event is projected to be the largest paint industry exhibition and conference in Southeast Asia, presenting more than 20 international seminar sessions and six free short courses.

Carrying the theme 'Painting a Sustainable Future', PCS 2025 highlights the direction of industrial transformation towards bio-based paint production and sustainable coating technology.

The main session titled Painting a Sustainable Future will be hosted by Johnson Ongking, former Vice President of Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines, which discussed the global campaign Cool Roof' initiative highlighting the potential of the paint industry in reducing extreme temperatures and building energy consumption.

Various other topics will also discuss strategic industrial issues, such as Reducing the Environmental Impact of Epoxy Resins, Sustainable Additives for Water-Based Coatings, as well as Macroeconomics Meets Formulation: How Global Dynamics Shape Coating Prices.

This discussion is expected to provide insight into the relationship between raw material prices and global economic pressures, which have a direct effect on the margins of paint and coating producers.

In addition, PCS 2025 also presents short courses by international experts from industry and academics, which discuss scattering theory, modern paint formulation, to anti-corrosion technology.
