Shell And ExxonMobil Have Not Continued Negotiations On The Purchase Of Base Fuel From Pertamina

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga revealed that currently Shell Indonesia and PT ExxonMobil Lubricants have not yet continued negotiations on the purchase of base fuel from Pertamina.

VAT Corporate Secretary Roberth Dumatubun revealed the reasons why these two private business entities have not been able to continue negotiations.

For Shell, Robert said that the gas station with the shell logo still needs to coordinate with its headquarters specifically to fulfill the compliance vendor.

Meanwhile, for Exxon, Roberth said he would still discuss the needs of November because it still has stock.

"Regarding the progress of the meeting at the Directorate General of Oil and Gas with private business entities facilitated by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Exxon and Shell have not been able to continue the conversation," said Roberth in a statement to the media, Tuesday, October 7.

Meanwhile, three other gas stations such as PT Vivo Energy Indonesia, PT Aneka Petroindo Raya (APR), and PT AKR Corporindo Tbk have expressed their willingness to follow up on more technical talks and follow-up stages.

Roberth detailed the follow-up to the next stage, including agreement on statement documents in order to maintain GCG and Regulations such as Anti- Monopoly Statements, Money Laundry, Bribery and so on.

Selanjutnya perusahaan-perusahaan tersebut jug akan menyampaikan kebutuhan komoditi yang dibutuhkan serta melakukan pembahasan terkait spesifikasi produk, key terms dan persyaratan umum atau General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

"Selanjutnya Pertamina akan menyampaikan kembali spesifikasi produk yang dapat memenuhi requirement semua BU dan key term termasuk join surveyor untuk dikonfirmasi oleh BU swasta terkait," lanjut Roberth.

Apabila BU Swasta setuju, lanjut dia, maka akan dilaksanakan proses pengadaan komoditi tersebut.

Selanjutnya pemenang pengadaan akan disampaikan kepada BU Swasta dalam lingkup penyedia kargo, best price dan volume kargo.

Sementara tahapan terakhir adalah pengiriman kargo yang sudah disepakati yang diperkirakan akan dilakukan pada minggu ketiga bulan Oktober.

While the final stage is the agreed cargo shipment which is expected to take place in the third week of October.
