JAKARTA PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI has again shown its commitment to supporting the people's housing program through the distribution of Subsidized Home Ownership Loans (KPRS).

BRI Dhanny's Corporate Secretary explained that as a form of commitment in helping Low-Income Communities (MBR) to be able to own decent houses, BRI has distributed KPRS amounting to Rp14.65 trillion to 107 thousand debtors throughout Indonesia by the end of August 2025.

He explained that the distribution of BRI KPRS consisted of Prosperous KPR Housing Financing Liquidity Facilities (FLPP) amounting to Rp14.21 trillion, Tapera Mortgage of Rp329.92 billion, Interest Difference Subsidy Mortgage (SSB) of Rp103.75 billion, and Savings-Based Housing Financing Assistance Program (BP2BT) of Rp9.24 billion.

Dhanny revealed that this achievement emphasized BRI's commitment as a bank that distributes government subsidized housing programs.

"We are committed to providing decent, affordable, and quality residential access for low-income people. The distribution of KPRS is in line with BRI's vision to continue to contribute to equitable welfare while supporting the national development agenda," he said in his statement, quoted on Sunday, September 21.

Dhanny said that as a tangible manifestation of support for the 3 Million House Program, BRI in August 2025 also added the FLPP mortgage distribution quota from 17,700 units to 25,000 units.

"We are optimistic that the subsidized housing program can continue to expand its reach, so that more and more Indonesian families can have decent houses," he added.

Dhanny conveyed that the distribution of the KPRS is also in line with BRI's focus on supporting Asta Cita Pemerintah, namely continuing infrastructure development and building from villages for economic equality.

According to him, through housing financing, BRI not only provides access to housing, but also contributes to improving the quality of life of the community.
