486 Innovations From 21 Countries Enliven Indonesia Inventors Day 2025 In Jakarta

JAKARTA - Jakarta is again a witness to the most prestigious innovation event in the Southeast Asia region. Indonesia Inventors Day 2025, which was held on September 11'14, 2025 at SMESCO Indonesia, officially ended with great success. No less than 486 innovative works exhibited by inventors and innovators from 21 countries, marking important momentum in the landscape of technology and global creativity.

From Asia to Europe, innovators come with future solutions, ranging from environmentally friendly technology, advanced health devices, to the latest digitalization system. Countries that take part include: Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Jordan, Iran, New Zealand, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Hong Kong, China, Macau, Russia, Croatia, Poland, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Carrying the theme 'Innovating for Better Future', this event is not just an exhibition and competition, but also an international collaboration stage where visionary ideas meet and grow to answer global challenges of the present and future.

In his remarks at the opening of the event, Erricha Insan Pratisi, Chair of the Indonesia Invention and Innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA), emphasized the importance of consistency in organizing this event every year.

We believe that innovation is the foundation of a better future. Through the Indonesia Inventors Day, we want to encourage cross-border and cross-disciplinary collaboration to create real solutions to global challenges. This is the spirit of this year's theme, Innovating for Better Future, because the future is built today, by bold and creative ideas," said Erricha.

As an annual agenda that has been going on for 12 years, Indonesia Inventors Day has grown to become one of the main magnets in Asia's innovation world, opening the door to cross-border networks and facilitating cooperation between inventors, academics, industry, and investors.

This event involves 60 professional judges from well-known universities in Indonesia as well as industry practitioners who are competent in their fields. The assessment is carried out strictly, covering various aspects such as:

- The level of novelty and innovation- The social impact on the community- the principle of environmental sustainability- And of course, the potential of the market

This process guarantees that the works that receive awards are truly relevant and efficient innovations in facing global challenges, ranging from health issues, climate change, food security, to digitizing the MSME sector.
