JAKARTA - Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita reported that the Ministry of Industry's budget ceiling reached 58.39 percent as of August 31, 2025.

"The Ministry of Industry's total budget ceiling is IDR 2.54 trillion, with a blocked budget of IDR 576.42 billion, so the current effective budget ceiling is IDR 1.96 trillion. The Ministry of Industry's budget realization for the 2025 fiscal year through August 31, 2025, reached 58.39 percent of the effective budget ceiling," Agus said.

According to the presentation, IDR 229.9 billion of this budget ceiling has been used for personnel expenses.

"This personnel expense, which will be paid monthly until December 2025, amounts to IDR 229.9 billion," he said.

Furthermore, outstanding contracts as of the end of August 2025 were recorded at IDR 39 billion.

Next, Agus said, IDR 125.6 billion is allocated for infrastructure development, including the construction of buildings for Makassar vocational schools (SMK), the Indonesian Footwear Industry Empowerment Center (BPIPI), and the Fashion and Craft Industry Empowerment Center (BPIFK).

Furthermore, IDR 28.7 billion is allocated for the industrial machinery/equipment restructuring program currently underway, as well as IDR 16.1 billion for halal certification and certification of domestic component level (TKDN) products.

Furthermore, IDR 6.6 billion is allocated to support scheduled activities, including international exhibitions such as the Halal Industry or Halal Indo, the Halal Industry Award (IHYA), business matching for domestic product purchases, industrial festivals, and other industry exhibitions.

According to Agus, the disbursement of the majority of these activities will only be realized in the second semester.

"And we are targeting budget realization to reach 76.70 percent by the end of September," he said.
