JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of Aceh Fadhlullah launched the Rumah Quran Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) program in the province nicknamed "cerambi makah" in order to give birth to a generation of Qurans and are close to the Quran.

On the sidelines of the launch of the BSI Quran House in the Geuceu Iniem area, Banda Raya District, he explained that the program needs to continue to be expanded so that many Acehnese children can memorize the Quran.

He also hopes that the President Director of BSI will pay great attention to Aceh by improving services because BSI is a sharia bank operating in Aceh. Where the presence of BSI is also part of the implementation of Qanun Islamic Financial Institutions.

President Director of BSI Tbk, Anggoro Eko Cahyo said that the BSI Quran House is a program of BSI Maslahat which aims to form a memorizer of the Quran with character and noble character.

The BSI Quran House Program is the result of collaboration between Bank Syariah Indonesia, BAZNAS RI, and BSI Maslahat in the field of non-formal education which is intended for students from the general public aged 15-22 years, equivalent to high school levels.

He added that the program is to improve the quality of student education, produce graduates who memorize Al Quran, and provide them with entrepreneurial insight to increase job opportunities and economic independence.

"Santri not only excel in memorizing the Qur'an, but also have competitiveness in social and professional life," he said.

He hopes that the program can make a significant contribution to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Asta Cita of the Government of Indonesia.
