Tax Deposit Targeted At IDR 2,357 Trillion In 2026

JAKARTA - Finance Minister Sri Mulyani is targeting state revenues of IDR 3,147.7 trillion with tax revenues of IDR 2,357.7 trillion, customs of IDR 334.2 trillion and non-tax state revenues (PNBP) of IDR 455.0 trillion.

"For tax revenues of IDR 2357.7 trillion, it means that 13.5 percent must grow. That is quite high and ambitious," Sri Mulyani said at the RAPBN Press Conference and Financial Note for Fiscal Year 2026 at the DGT Office, Friday, August 15.

Sri Mulyani added, to get customs and excise, he continued, an increase of 7.7 percent was needed from 2025. Meanwhile, PNBP decreased by 4.7 percent. He explained that this was because the government no longer received dividends from State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

"The PNBP is now permanent and no longer gets dividends from the company. So indeed we have dropped from the background side," he said.

To boost revenue from taxes, the government will take advantage of the beliax, the synergy of data exchange with Ministries/Agencies. In addition, it will also rely on the domestic and foreign digital transaction collection system. Then join the program in data analysis, supervision, inspection, intelligence, and tax compliance. Finally, the government will also provide investment, investment and downstream incentives.

In terms of customs and excise, the Ministry of Finance will implement a tobacco excise policy and extensification of Excise Goods (BKC). In addition, Sri Mulyani said, the Ministry of Finance utilizes the export duty policy (BK) to support product downstreaming. Finally, the Ministry of Finance will increase law enforcement and eradicate the circulation of illegal excisable goods and smuggling.

Meanwhile, for the increase in PNBP, this state treasurer will increase optimization, improvement of governance, innovation, supervision and law enforcement of Alam Resources (SDA).
