10 Months As President, Prabowo Shows Off Government Achievements

JAKARTA - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto said that a number of achievements that his government had carried out during the first 10 months.

According to him, this achievement is the result of the government's hard work in order to realize the nation's ideals.

"With the support of all components of the nation, the government is united, fighting, so that the people are protected, the Indonesian economy remains stable and public services can run effectively," Prabowo said in a Speech on the 2026 Financial Note and RAPBN at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 15.

A number of these achievements include economic growth in the second quarter of 2020 reaching 5.12 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy). According to Prabowo, this growth improved from the first quarter which was only 4.87 percent.

"More than half of it is the contribution of public consumption activities which increased 4.97 percent," Prabowo said in a Speech on the 2026 Financial Note and RAPBN at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 15.

Then, Indonesia's exports grew by 10.67 percent. Prabowo said, the added value from downstreaming became the strongest contributor to Indonesia's exports. "The strong economy supports improving people's welfare," he said.

Next, the unemployment rate fell to 4.76 percent in February 2025 and also decreased compared to last year's 4.82 percent. "Then with the 3.6 million new jobs that were successfully created," he explained.

Then, Prabowo continued, the government also succeeded in reducing the poverty rate to 8.47 percent. He claims, that figure is the lowest in history.

In addition, according to him, the government has also worked hard to keep inflation low in the range of 2.4 percent. Thus, maintaining people's purchasing power, especially the poor.

"This is real evidence with hard work and sincerity, we are able to fight for the fate of millions of Indonesians to live a more prosperous life," he concluded.
