JAKARTA - PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGN) through its subsidiary, PT Gagas Energi Indonesia (Gagas) supplies natural gas based on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung (RSHS).
CNG in the form of Gaslink has been channeled for the needs of the RSHS kitchen since last Wednesday, August 6.
PGN President Director Arief S Handoko said RSHS would use Gaslink with a volume of 1,500 cubic meters (M3) per month, where previously RSHS used diesel energy.
"In addition to the kitchen, RSHS will gradually realize the use of Gaslink for Boylers and electricity generators," he said, quoted on Tuesday, August 12.
He added, with the use of Gaslink at RSHS, it is hoped that it will support the RSHS initiative to go to a green hospital, considering that CNG is energy that contains relatively lower emissions than other energies.
"Pertamina Gas Subholding is determined to provide the best service so that CNG can provide optimal benefits for RSHS," he said.
RSHS President Director Rachim Dinata Marsidi revealed that the use of Gaslink can help reduce energy costs optimally, as well as become a commitment of RSHS in creating a cleaner environment.
