JAKARTA - The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the Deputy for Micro Enterprises facilitates 18 micro-entrepreneurs to meet the Heads of the Nutrition Service and Fulfillment Unit (SPPG) and the Head of the SPPG Kitchen Partner Foundation in the Cileunyi area of Bandung Regency and its surroundings.

Deputy for Micro Business at the Ministry of MSMEs Riza Damanik emphasized that this effort is a concrete step to expand the involvement of MSMEs in the supply chain for the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program which is expected to be able to encourage MSMEs to advance to class.

"MSMEs have a strategic position in supporting the success of the MBG program as part of efforts to produce a healthy and superior Indonesian generation," said Riza Damanik, Saturday, August 2.

Riza Damanik explained that through this program, MSMEs will be involved in the three main points of the MBG ecosystem, namely as suppliers of raw materials (hulu), providers of boga services in the SPPG (kitchen) kitchen, and managers of food waste (hilir).

"MSMEs must take advantage of MBG's economic opportunities by continuing to maintain product quality and improve business management," said Riza.

Furthermore, the Ministry of MSMEs also emphasized its commitment through the four main support pillars, namely increasing business management capacity, facilitating access to capital and financing, supporting legality and business protection, as well as increasing productivity through digitalization, supply chain partnerships, and expanding markets.

For concrete examples of the success of the MBG partnership model, it was also conveyed the results of the visit by the Minister of MSMEs to CV ST Jaya Mandiri, SPPG kitchen partner MSMEs who succeeded in increasing turnover to Rp1.8 billion per year and creating jobs for 15 surrounding housewives.

"Temu Mitra is also not just a ceremony, but a real step to open market access and strengthen the role of MSMEs in an inclusive and sustainable nutritious food ecosystem," said Riza.
