JAKARTA - PT Vale Innesia Tbk (INCO) recorded an increase in nickel waste production in the second quarter of 2025.
Vale has recorded 18,557 tonnes of nickel supply compared to the first quarter which was recorded at 17,027.
Thus, the total nickel production between Vale in the first semester reached 35,558 tons compared to the same period the previous year (yoy) which was recorded at 34,774.
INCO Vice President Director and Chief Operation and Infrastructure Officer Abu Ashar said nickel production in the first half of 2025 was recorded at 2 percent higher than the same period in 2024. With this achievement, he said he was optimistic about Vale's nickel production prospects throughout 2025.

Meanwhile, the average price of nickelcurrency in the second quarter of 2025 reached 12,091 US dollars per ton, slightly increasing compared to 11,932 US dollars per ton in the previous quarter.
