Claimed To Be Ready, The Red And White Cooperative In Jakarta Starts October

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung claims that all urban villages in Jakarta are ready to carry out cooperative operations in the Red and White Village/Sub-District Cooperative program which is one of President Prabowo Subianto's mainstay programs.

"267 cooperatives in Jakarta have been formed and I happened to beandatangani. They are already legal entities and they are ready to operate," Pramono said in North Jakarta, Thursday, July 24.

However, Pramono admitted that 267 cooperatives in the kelurahan will run completely in October, such as the deadline set by the central government. Although, currently the Red and White Cooperative is operational.

"Indeed, the deadline for operation is in accordance with the direction of the central government starting in October. Currently, we are preparing and so on. So if yesterday someone said it was not ready and so on, it was the time like that," explained Pramono.

Pramono ensured that he would run the Red and White Cooperative in Jakarta according to Prabowo's expectations. In fact, he hopes that its implementation can be an example for other regions.

"I and the Deputy Governor saw that Jakarta would hopefully become a role model, an example for other regions for the Red and White Cooperative," he explained.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto officially launched 80,000 Red and White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes). The inauguration ceremony was centered in Bentangan Village, Wonosari, Klaten Regency, Central Java.

"By saying bismillahirrahmanirrahim, this afternoon, Monday, July 21, 2025, I am the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto launching 80,000 village and sub-district cooperatives," said Prabowo, Monday, July 21.

Prabowo admitted that he did not expect that 80,000 Red and White Kopdes could be formed and inaugurated in July. Initially, he thought the inauguration would take place in October 2025.

"But I'm honest, in my heart, that's it, about October, November it will be formed, right? Suddenly the report, 'Mr. We are July ready to be inaugurated'. Hah? How much? 80,000 everything. Really? Thank you," said Prabowo.
