President Prabowo Subianto ordered the National Police Chief and the Attorney General to pursue and indicate the perpetrators of rogue businesses in rice commodities that caused state losses of up to hundreds of trillions of rupiah.

"The National Police Chief, the Attorney General, please chase the stubborn. Let the Rp100 trillion enter every year. Naughty, ordinary rice just changes the premium stamp," Prabowo said in the launch of the Red and White Kopdes and broadcast online, Monday, July 21.

Prabowo revealed that the practice of mixed rice also occurs in other countries such as Malaysia. However, he will not strictly allow this deviation to continue.

He also appreciated the steps previously taken by the Minister of Agriculture, Andi Amran Sulaiman, to indict the fraudulent gas. However, these practices often reappear.

"I received a report from the Minister of Agriculture. When he was Minister of Agriculture, he had already been prosecuted, appeared again, appeared again, tried it out," he said.

Apart from rice, it turns out that the same thing happened to other commodities such as cooking oil. He mentioned the practice of reducing volume in packaging which could have a major economic impact.

"What is the same thing, cooking oil. The bottle is reduced by 10 percent, 20 percent. It's 20 percent of the million tons. This is also taken from millions of tons of rice like this," said Prabowo.

Prabowo said that food quality testing laboratories are now available in many regions, and the use of artificial intelligence (AI) allows for faster and more accurate supervision.

"We can track these anomalies now. There are many laboratories to check the quality of food in the regions. Artificial intelligence is also available, we can quickly track down these games," he explained.

Prabowo emphasized that the state has strong legal force through the 1945 Constitution, especially Article 33, as a moral and constitutional basis for defending the interests of the people and taking legal action.

"We have very big strength whose name is the 1945 Constitution, Article 33. This is the spirit of our republic, this is the spirit. If this weapon is the ultimate weapon, we just have to be brave or not," he said.
