JAKARTA - Minister of Creative Economy (Ekraf) Teuku Riefky Harsya builds synergies to boost the creative economy sector in Pacitan by presenting a direct dialogue between the government and local creative economy industry players.

Furthermore, this step is in line with the assignment from President Prabowo Subianto in order to make the creative economy a new engine for national economic growth starting from the regions.

"We are here to encourage creative economy to become a new engine for economic growth in Pacitan, through synergies between local governments and creative actors," said Teuku in a confirmed statement in Jakarta, Saturday.

Pacitan Regency is currently progressing in the creative economy and one of them was initiated by the Pacitan Regional Government action which inaugurated the Payu Gallery as a center for promoting superior products such as batik, bamboo crafts, natural stones, and regional souvenirs.

Pacitan Regent Indrata Nur Bayuaji revealed that this dialogue in his area was also a follow-up to a meeting at the Office of the Ministry of Creative Economy, Jakarta on May 26, 2025.

According to him, the presence of the Ministry of Creative Economy today can hear the aspirations of various creative and creative sub-sector actors in Pacitan.

"We can hear directly from all creative elements in Pacitan, ranging from films, music, fashion, applications, and so on Although, in terms we are a small Regency, but we believe Pacitan can compete, especially with the presence of the creative economy," said Indrata.

One of the creative economy telentas that attended from the application sub-sector was the Director of the Technology Sentana Muhammad Ariadi. Ariadi assessed that the direct dialogue of the government and business actors was very meaningful for the development of creative and creative talent in the Pacitan Regency area in finding solutions to the development of creative economy.

"Our hope after this event is the presence of regulations or programs that really help talents and creative activists in Pacitan to be able to develop and survive in a global economy like this," he explained.
