The Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) of the Ministry of Finance said that the distribution of People's Business Credit (KUR) in the trade sector in Southwest Papua Province was the highest compared to other sectors.
The realization reached IDR 84.992 billion from the total distribution of KUR in the January to May 2025 period of IDR 183.970 billion to 2,985 debtors spread across six districts/cities.
"The highest trade, both in terms of value and number of debtors (1,292 people)," said West Papua IIB DJPb Budget Implementation Section Head Erwan Hasbuloh as reported by ANTARA, Friday, June 13.
He said that the social, socio-cultural, and entertainment services sectors ranks second highest in KUR distribution with a value of IDR 27.490 billion, followed by the agricultural sector of IDR 25.214 billion.
Then, the accommodation and drink sector is IDR 18.603 billion, the transportation sector is IDR 7.645 billion, the processing industry is IDR 7.107 billion, fisheries is IDR 6.104 billion, and real estate is IDR 4.688 billion.
"The rest is channeled to debtors in the construction sector, education services, and the health services sector," said Erwan.
He detailed that the distribution of KUR in Sorong City was the largest with a realization of Rp110,308 billion (1,874 debtors), and the second position was occupied by South Sorong Regency with Rp33.941 billion (442 debtors).
Sorong Regency occupies the third position with a value of IDR 24.693 billion (426 debtors), then Raja Ampat Regency IDR 11.070 billion (147 debtors), and Maybrat Regency IDR 2.101 billion (44 debtors).
"If the distribution of KUR in Tambrauw Regency is worth Rp1.856 billion with a total debtor of 52 people," he explained.
According to him, the distribution of KUR is divided into three schemes, namely KUR Mikro as much as Rp114,030 billion (2,726 debtors), KUR as small as Rp69,727 billion (236 debtors), and KUR supermicro Rp213 million (23 debtors).
