Homecoming Is Prohibited, But Pertamina Provides Packaged Fuel Carriers On The Trans Java Toll Road

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) has alerted three packaged fuel-carrying cars to anticipate motorists running out of fuel while walking along the Trans Java toll road in the central part of Java.

"There are three commercial cars prepared at three points, namely the Tegal Toll exit, the Weleri Toll exit, and the Salatiga Toll exit," said Manager of Communications Relations and CSR of Pertamina Central Java Brasto Galih Nugroho, quoted from Antara, Monday, May 3.

He said motorists could contact Pertamina's Call Center at 135 to get this service.

In addition to refueling services on toll roads, Pertamina will also prepare additional stock in fully stocked tanker cars that are placed at several gas stations that have the potential to increase demand.

His party has alerted 47 tankers at 47 gas stations, both on the Trans Java Toll Road and outside the Trans Java Toll Road, mainly in locations that are crowded with consumers, both in Central Java and Yogyakarta.

"We have activated the BBM and LPG Task Force to serve the energy needs of the community from April 26 to May 31, 2021," said Brasto.

Pertamina also ensures that all regular gas stations are fully stocked and prepares additional filling services at several rest areas along the toll road.

Meanwhile, Jasa Marga noted that there had been a decrease in traffic flow by 8.5 percent on the Jakarta - Cikampek Toll road at the end of the implementation of the Lebaran homecoming ban, when compared to normal traffic.

On May 6-17, 2021, the government prohibits Lebaran homecoming by setting up blocking posts.

Types of vehicles that are allowed to pass during the homecoming season, namely logistic distribution service vehicles, work or service needs, visits from sick families, visits from bereaved families, pregnant women accompanied by one family member, and the need for childbirth.
