PLN Gives 50 Percent Discount Adds Special Power For National Awakening Day

JAKARTA - In commemoration of National Awakening Day, PT PLN (Persero) presents an additional promo of electric power with a discount of 50 percent. This program entitled Rise More Brightly takes place from May 10 to 23, 2025.

This promo is intended for low-voltage customers of all one-fasa tariff groups, with an initial power of 450 Volt Ampere (VA) to 5,500 VA who want to increase their power to a maximum limit of 7,700 VA. This program can only be followed by PLN customers who have been registered before May 1, 2024.

PLN's Director of Retail and Commerce, Edi Sri Mulyanti, said that this program is a form of PLN's appreciation to loyal customers, as well as PLN's support for the community in meeting electricity needs for various activities at a more affordable cost.

"Investigating the spirit of National Awakening Day, the "Brighter Rising Power Added Promo program" is presented to provide a more comfortable experience in using electricity through ease of increasing power, "said Edi, Monday, May 12.

This 50 percent power added discount can be obtained by making electricity transactions through the PLN Mobile application. For prepaid customers, it is enough to purchase tokens, while postpaid customers can make electricity bill payments.

After the transaction is successful, the customer will receive an added power discount e-voucher that can be accessed through the 'Reward' feature in the PLN Mobile application or via registered customer email.

Furthermore, customers can apply for additional power through the PLN Mobile application by entering the received e-voucher code. After the payment is confirmed, the local PLN unit will immediately process additional power in accordance with applicable regulations.

Through this promo, customers can save more than IDR 3 million. For example, customers with a power of 450 VA who want to increase their power to 7,700 VA only need to pay IDR 3,512,625, compared to the previous fee which reached IDR 7,025,250.
