Good News! Sri Mulyani Officially Issues Official THR Payment Letters For Civil Servants, TNI And Polri

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani finally issued an official letter regarding the payment of holiday allowances (THR) for civil servants, military and police.

Based on the documents obtained by VOI, this is stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Finance (PMK) RI Number 42 / PMK.05 / 2021 concerning the Technical Guidelines for Providing THR and Thirteenth Salaries to State Apparatus, Retirees, Pension Recipients, and Beneficiaries of 2021 which Sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget.

"The holiday allowance is paid no later than 10 days before the holiday date," wrote the PMK, which was signed by Sri Mulyani on Thursday, April 29.

This means that if it is traced based on calendar days, the distribution of the Hari Raya Allowance can be carried out on Monday, May 3, 2021 with the benchmark of the Eid Al-Fitr celebration which falls on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

Apart from the matter of paying the THR, this regulation also regulates the payment of the thirteenth salary for state servants.

“The thirteenth salary is paid in June at the earliest. In the event that the thirteenth salary cannot be paid, it can be implemented after June. In the event that there is a remaining THR payment and thirteenth salary, the expenditure treasurer will immediately deposit the remaining funds into the state treasury, "wrote the decree.

Previously, the Director General of Budget at the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) Isa Rachmatarwata gave a leak about the certainty of THR payments.

"(The fastest THR payment) is 10 calendar days before the D-day," he said via written message to VOI, Tuesday, April 27.

The Ministry of Finance itself this year has prepared a budget of IDR 30.6 trillion for THR payments at central agencies.
