IRT Mothers Are Happy To Have A Salary Of IDR 2 Million Per Month From The MBG Program

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana admitted that housewives (IRT) are grateful to have income independently thanks to the Free Nutrition Eating (MBG) program launched by President Prabowo Subianto.

"Many mothers who are 40-45 years old are now happy Pak (Prabowo), from those who do not have income so there is revenue of Rp. 2 million per month, extreme poverty is immediately lost. And now 50.000 people have joined the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG)," he said, quoted from the Presidential Secretariat's Youtube show.

He added that the one service unit needed 50 people to work.

"So, if there are 30,000, automatically there are 1.5 million people working in the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit," he continued.

Not only mothers, said Dadan, restaurant owners are happy thanks to the MBG program.

"This is also an opportunity for those who work infood and Beverage, many restaurants in Jakarta that are not selling well are now converted into staff of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG), in areas as well as many restaurants that almost went bankrupt are now rising again," said Dadan.

Then, Dadan mentioned again, there are many new suppliers who want to contribute to the MBG program.

These suppliers supply all SPPG needs for food supply before being distributed to beneficiaries, namely students at schools and pregnant women.

"So 15 new suppliers appear every time one service (SPPG) is established. Now, because there are only 1,009 SPPGs, many suppliers are just scrambling to enter the SPPG," he said.
