Zulhas explained that building a Red and White Village cooperative requires funds or investments worth IDR 3 billion to IDR 5 billion.
According to him, the source of funds for this program is still under discussion, with the possibility of involving the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN), the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD).
Zulhas explained that this process is expected to be completed within a month, and is currently waiting for the issuance of the Presidential Instruction (Inpres), so that the Red and White House Village Cooperative will soon run.
"(The Presidential Instruction is published) July, hopefully soon. July has already been formed. Now it's started. That's what will build the village government later. So now we can form it. As soon as it's implicit, go straight away," he said.
According to him, the Red and White Village Cooperative will help cut supply chains, so that goods such as sugar and cooking oil can be directly distributed to villages. On the other hand, the products from villages, such as agricultural products, will also be able to be brought directly to the city.
In addition, Zulhas said that the Red and White Village Cooperative will also provide loan facilities such as Savings and Loans Bank, to support the village economy sector.
"So the people's economy can also run. So the rural products can be brought directly to the city. Production from cities such as sugar, cooking oil can go directly to the village. It means that the production results of the farmers in the village will be absorbed by the Cooperatives," he explained.
