Danantara Appoints PT BKI As Operational Holding

JAKARTA - The Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) or Danantara Indonesia appointed PT Bureau of Indonesian Classification (Persero) or BKI to become an operational holding.

Currently, BKI is the Holding of BUMN Survey Services or IDSurvey. The holding is the result of a merger from BKI, Sucofindo and Surveyor Indonesia.

Regarding the appointment, Danantara Chief Operation Officer (COO) Dony Oskaria explained that BKI was chosen to be the operational holding under Danantara because the company has a healthy financial condition.

The parameters we choose are the companies that are the most financially healthy. The healthier means that we don't have big financial problems. We have decided to vote for BKI," said Dony at Graha CIMB Niaga, Jakarta, Monday, March 24.

Later, continued Dony, corporate and consolidated actions will be carried out to make BKI a Danantara operational holding. Dony said that BKI would also change its name.

"Later, the BKI will become a new company under it, so that later what will be used is BKI as a holding which will be renamed, of course, as a holding rather than Antara for operations," said Dony.

After the inbreng shares of all SOEs are carried out to BKI, which is an operational holding, continued Dony, then Danantara will again map SOEs. Both in terms of business consolidation, as well as existing BUMN holdings or previously formed ones.

"So after this (Danantara) is launched, then BUMN-BUMN that has been integrated into the Operational Holding, we will re-companies all of our SOEs. There will be a consolidation business later, including a review of existing holding," Dony explained.

For your information, currently there are 13 SOEs with open company status whose shares have been officially transferred to PT KBI. The transfer of shares with this inbreng scheme was announced in the information disclosure of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today.

These SOEs include PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI), and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN).

Then, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA), PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI), and PT PP (Persero) Tbk (PTPP).

Then, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR), PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR), PT Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (GIAA), PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk (KRAS), and PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (TLKM).
