Asked By Prabowo To Accelerate MBG Program, Head Of BGN Will Cooperate With TNI To NU And Muhammadiyah

JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana revealed that he would accelerate to reach various regions that had not received the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program. This is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's order who admits that he is not satisfied with the MBG program because there are still many who have not received this free meal program.

"There are many reports to the President. The President sees that it is very sad because many children have received them, but more have not received them. So there are reports, 'Why haven't I been fed by Mr. Prabowo?' So Mr. Prabowo was nervous in that attention and asked for acceleration," he told the media crew at the Ministry of Public Works Building, Saturday, March 22.

Dadan said, to accelerate this expansion requires policy and cooperation from the private sector and Ministries/Institutions (K/L) including the TNI, Polri, Prosecutor's Office, BIN, and others.

"NU, Muhammadiyah, HIPMI, KADIN, then Cooperatives and all of them were involved," continued Dadan.

Furthermore, Dadan said, until now BGN has established 1,050 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) throughout Indonesia and has pooled 100 percent of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). In fact, Dadan continued, since its launch on January 6, BGN only had 191 SPPGs in 26 provinces.

"So in just three months we can increase in such a way. And with a note that not a single service unit has been built by the Nutrition Agency. So it is actually a partnership with 100 percent MSMEs," said Dadan.

Previously, President Prabowo Subianto admitted that he was not satisfied with the MBG program even though he had reached 38 provinces because he often received complaints from parents of students whose children had not been touched by the MBG program.

"The problem is, if I come to a village or place, it's his parents who ask. 'Sir, we haven't received MBG'. So this is something that disturbs my heart. They heard it in the next school village already," continued Prabowo.

For this reason, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party asked people who have not been reached by the MBG program to be patient. He also asked the Head of BGN to speed up this program.

"I ask the Head of BGN and all ranks to think innovatively and creatively. What if we accelerate What to use a hybrid system? Because we really need and hope for the people," said Prabowo.
