BADUNG - I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Denpasar, Bali, opened the 2025 Eid Air Transport Integrated Command Post which continued to operate during Nyepi Holy Day on March 29.
General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport Ahmad Syaugi Shahab said this transportation post lasted for 22 days from March 21 to April 11, 2025.
On Nyepi Day, March 29, flights will be closed, but transportation posts will continue to operate according to the rules.
"Posko continues to operate (when Nyepi) according to the technical operating standards of the governor's circular, but we are still working with pecalang, officers at the internal office at the AOCC (airport control center) or at the terminal point remain," said Ahmad Syaugi as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 21.
Special Eid transportation post personnel on Nyepi Day will decrease because there are no passenger and flight activities, and officers will monitor more through CCTV cameras.
The transportation post at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport itself will function to provide information to prospective passengers whose number is predicted to increase due to the momentum of the homecoming flow.
"Anticipate traffic congestion, there are also several plans, such as we open this post, an integrated post from the police, TNI, BMKG, and other elements, if we expect the high passenger to be on March 27-28," said Ahmad Syaugi.
