BP-AKR Notes An Increase In Fuel Sales, Here's Why!

JAKARTA - PT Aneka Petro Indoraya (BP-AKR) recorded an increase in sales of fuel oil products (BBM) over the past few weeks.

President Director of BP-AKR Vanda Laura said that currently there is an increase in sales of fuel products, one of which is caused by the company's expansion which opens 3 new gas stations,

"One of the reasons is because we also have a new site opening. So in the last 30 days there have been about 3 or 4 that have been opened. So maybe one of them is because of that," said Vanda to the media crew at the BPH Migas Building, Monday, March 17.

On the other hand, continued Vanda, his party is also aggressively carrying out promotional activities that also contribute to increasing fuel sales. Moreover, he said, currently BP has 65 gas stations in all areas of Java, including 3 gas stations in the rest area.

When asked about the increase in fuel sales, Vanda said that his party recorded an increase in fuel consumption by 20 to 30 percent compared to the normal period.

Vanda did not deny that this increase occurred after previously there was a shortage of fuel supply from January to February, thus hampering the operation of the nal of almost all gas stations belonging to BP-AKR.

"For example, from normal consumption, it's a bit difficult to compare, because from January, February, we had limited stock. So indeed at that time there were a lot of locations that could not operate fully, the products were complete," said Vanda.
