KAI Presents East Mutiara Panoramic Train For Eid Homecoming, Take Note Of The Schedule

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI presents exclusive Panoramic Train services on the East Mutiara train series managed by KAI Wisata in order to welcome the Lebaran 2025 homecoming period.

KAI Vice President Public Relations Anne Purba said the presence of the East Mutiara Panoramic train was a form of KAI's commitment to increasing customer comfort, especially for people who wanted to enjoy the journey with beautiful views along the Surabaya-Banyuwangi route.

"With the presence of the East Mutiara Panoramic train, customers can enjoy a more special homecoming trip thanks to the exclusive facilities we offer," he said in an official statement, Monday, March 17.

Anne said this service will operate from March 21 to April 11, 2025, serving the Surabaya Gubeng-Ketapang (PP) route with a more luxurious and classy travel experience.

"KA Mutiara Timur Panoramic offers fares ranging from IDR 475 thousand with various premium facilities, such as exclusive waiting rooms at several stations, meal boxes, snacks, free flow beverages, and free WiFi services. In addition, there are dedicated train attendants who are ready to serve customer needs during the trip," he said.

Departure Schedule and Route

This train has a departure schedule from Ketapang Station at 08.40 WIB and arrives at Surabaya Gubeng Station at 14:38 WIB. Meanwhile, for the opposite trip, KA Mutiara Timur Panoramic departed Surabaya Gubeng at 21.50 WIB and arrived in Ketapang at 03.40 WIB.

Anne said the East Mutiara Panoramic train would stop at several stations, including Sidoarjo, Bangil, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, Klakah, Embankment, Rambi Puji, Jember, Kalibaru, Kalisetail, Temuguruh, Rogojampi, and Banyuwangi Kota before finally arriving in Ketapang.

On the other hand, Rute will also pass through the same stations, providing flexibility for customers to choose the ups and downs that suit their needs, Anne said.

Anne said customers who want to enjoy the KA Mutiara Timur Panoramic service can immediately book tickets through the Access by KAI application, the kai.id website.

"KAI urges customers to immediately order tickets early so they don't run out given their high interest in Eid homecoming trips," he said.
