Aburizal Bakrie's Daughter: Bangka Belitung Will Bring Many Domestic And International Tourists

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry encourages the Provincial Government of the Bangka Belitung Islands to develop a tourism area so that it can improve the community's economy in the midst of the COVID-19 epidemic.

"In the midst of this pandemic, Bangka Belitung has tremendous potential to be developed", said Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Anindya N. Bakrie while inspecting the land for the construction of the Office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bangka Belitung in Pangkalpinang, quoted from Antara, Monday, April 26.

She said that Bangka Belitung besides having extraordinary natural beauty also has the potential for large tin ore mining so that the local government must utilize and develop the economic area in this hapless country.

"The economic zone, especially tourism, must be developed because Bangka Belitung has extraordinary natural beauty", she said.

According to her, in accelerating the regional economic growth, apart from tourism and mining areas, the regional government must also develop other economic potentials such as marine, fisheries, plantations, and other sectors.

"With this tourism development, of course, it can increase domestic and foreign tourists to Bangka Belitung", she said.

Chairman of the Bangka Belitung Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Thomas Jusman hopes that the visit of the Deputy Chair of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to Bangka Belitung is a starting point for victory in the midst of the COVID-1.

"We are ready to increase synergy and become a strategic partner for the regional government in advancing the economy of the people in this country", he said.
