ITDC's Technical Strategy Introduces Golo Mori As A Completer Of Labuan Bajo Tourism

JAKARTA - PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney through its subsidiary, Injourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) continues to develop the Indonesian tourism ecosystem.

One of them, in Golo Mori, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).

President Director of InJourney, Maya Watono explained, Golo Mori was designed to be part of a tourism destination when tourists visited Labuan Bajo, NTT.

Furthermore, Maya said, Golo Mori and Labuan Bajo are also located in the same sub-district, Komodo District.

"We want to introduce Golo Mori as a part of Labuan Bajo, as one of the super priority destinations," Maya said when met at the BUMN Ministry office, Jakarta, Thursday, March 6.

Maya said, in encouraging tourists' interest in visiting Golo Mori, ITDC prepared several strategies.

One of them will be held a music event in the near future, Golo Mori Jazz (IGMJ).

The IGMJ will be held for the second time at the Golo Mori Convention Center (GMCC), in The Golo Mori area.

The event, which will take place on April 12, 2025, carries the theme "Jazz from the East, Exotic!".

The jazz music festival presents the harmony of jazz music in the charm of natural beauty from Eastern Indonesia.

IGMJ 2025 will present the performances of well-known jazz musicians such as Andien, Maliq & D Essentials, Sheila Majid, as well as Tohpati's special appearance in orchestral format.

Maya explained that organizing the event was one of the efforts to encourage tourists to come to Golo Mori.

Meanwhile, ITDC's Commercial Director, Troy Reza War, is facing the existence of music, the 2025 IGMJ can increase The Golo Mori's appeal as a world-class tourist destination in which it combines art, culture, and natural beauty.

"We hope that this event can further introduce The Golo Mori to the world and encourage the growth of the tourism sector and the creative economy in Indonesia," he said.
