JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga opened its voice regarding the issue that stated that there were allegations of mixing RON 90 fuel into RON 92 or Pertamax fuel.

In his statement to the media, Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary Heppy Wulansari emphasized that there was no mixing of Pertamax Fuel (BBM). Pertamax quality is ensured in accordance with the specifications set by the government, namely RON 92.

"Products that enter Pertamina's fuel terminal are finished products that match each RON, Pertalite has RON 90 and Pertamax has RON 92. Specifications that are channeled to the public from the beginning of product reception at Pertamina terminal are in accordance with government regulations," said Heppy, Wednesday, February 26.

Heppy continued, the treatment carried out at the main BBM terminal is the color injection process (dyes) as a product differentiator so that it is easily recognized by the public. In addition, there is also an additive injection that functions to improve the performance of Pertamax products.

"So it's not mixing or changing the RON. People don't have to worry about the quality of Pertamax," explained Heppy.

Heppy ensured that Pertamina Patra Niaga carried out strict procedures and supervision in carrying out Quality Control (QC) activities. Pertamina's fuel distribution is also supervised by the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency (BPH Migas).

"We adhere to procedures to ensure quality and in distribution are also supervised by the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency," said Heppy.

Heppy continued, Pertamina is committed to carrying out good corporate governance (GCG) for the provision of products needed by consumers.
