JAKARTA - The Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo said that one of the reasons that made the toll road project contactless or Multi Lane Free Flow (MLFF) had not been implemented was because the budget was still under lockdown.
An investment project from Hungary worth IDR 4.5 trillion from Roatex Ltd., through its subsidiary PT Roatex Indonesia Toll Road System (RITS) is still floating.

"When the budget was still locked, I couldn't do anything. If you want to break up, yes, the break is fine. Right, it's good too," said Dody to reporters at his office, Friday, February 21.
Dody did not deny that the project had indeed become the findings of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) regarding the government's unpreparedness to implement the technology.

"The BPK audit (related to MLFF) said it was not proper, but we suddenly had to contract. At that time I wasn't what it was like and we didn't need to discuss it," he said.
"What I have to do today is clean up the governance first. We have discussed with Hungary, even this has become a discussion with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemenlu)," he continued.
