"So our entrepreneurship ratio is still small, 3.4 percent. Meanwhile, if we look at Malaysia, Thailand is already above 4 percent. Singapore is already 8.6 percent. Even though the requirements to become a developed country, at least our entrepreneurship ratio is around 10 to 12 percent," he said at the launch of Gemini Academy. The cooperation in question is by utilizing the Gemini feature on Google.
Through Gemini, continued Budi, MSME players can access information regarding the access to the required export market.
"So we are working with Google Indonesia, yes, there is a training program for our MSMEs, how can we access information related to the export market, related to regulations, any policies from the government, especially to encourage our exports with the program that was on the Gemini platform," he said.
Meanwhile, Google Indonesia's Director of Government Relations and Public Policy, Putri Alam, said that Gemini is a chatbot feature to interact naturally and can help users increase creativity and productivity.
"The presence of AI like Gemini is expected to make a greater contribution to Indonesia's progress, especially for MSMEs and to unlock the potential of MSMEs," he said.
