"The progress of the road remains. But due to fiscal limitations, we have only budgeted for six months. Only later we have to look again because what makes me concerned is how this national road is at least 90 percent," he said.
To achieve the condition of the road's stability, Dody said, his party would focus on road repair activities.
"If that's the case, right, it means that we have to strengthen the preservation so that from a national road perspective it does not go down (quality)," concluded Dody.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Works confirmed that it would carry out road and bridge repair activities after the reduction in budget cuts.
Initially, the Ministry of Public Works budget was set at IDR 110.95 trillion, then cut IDR 81.38 trillion. Thus, the remaining IDR 29.57 trillion.
