JAKARTA - The Refinery Development Master Plan (RDMP) project of the Balikpapan Refinery operated by PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional has reached 92 percent in the first week of February 2025.

KPI President Director Taufik Aditiyawarman said the project was in the form of increasing oil processing capacity from 260,000 barrels per day to 360,000 barrels per day.

He detailed that the increase in fuel production by 142,000 barrels per day, the addition of LPG production by 336,000 tons per year, petrochemical production in the form of Propilena reaching 225,000 tons per year which will be the raw material for PT Polytama Propindo Balongan.

"There are also efforts that we are currently accelerating are one to monitor and control the progress of contractors. Then there is also a plan to add reinforcement manpower and also to procure training and spare parts by Pertamina," said Wiko.
