PT Pertamina Patra Niaga said that based on evidence from the police, the loss due to the theft of illegal tapping in the Kualanamu Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) revenue pipeline was around Rp. 400 million.
"Based on evidence from the police, (losses) are around Rp. 400 million," said Area Manager Comm, Rel, & CSR of Pertamina Patra Niaga, North Sumatra Regional (Sumbagut) Susanto August Satria when contacted by ANTARA from Jakarta, Saturday.
The evidence contained in the police is 29 baby tanks with an avtur volume of around 30 kiloliters (KL).
However, the total amount of losses has not been confirmed, because Pertamina is still waiting for the results of the investigation from the Deli Serdang Police, North Sumatra.
