When Will THR 2021 Be Paid? Check The Disbursement Calendar Here!

YOGYAKARTA - The first week of Ramadan 1442 H has passed. Talks about when THR was paid began to emerge among workers.

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemenaker) itself has ensured that the 2021 holiday allowance (THR) must be paid in full to workers and laborers, as stated in Circular Number M / 6 / HK.04 / IV / 2021.

So, when will THR 2021 be paid?

Before discussing when the 2021 THR is disbursed, it should be noted that the THR disbursement schedule for State civil servants (ASN) aka civil servants (PNS) is different from workers / laborers.

The government states that the 2021 THR disbursement for civil servants is D-10 before Eid al-Fitr.

This was conveyed by the Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Susiwijono Moegiarso.

"Even for ASN, the Coordinating Minister (Airlangga Hartarto) yesterday told the Minister of Finance (Sri Mulyani) to pay the H-10 (THR)," he said in the Power Lunch program quoted by VOI on Tuesday, April 20.

Meanwhile, for workers / laborers, the Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah obliges entrepreneurs to pay the THR a maximum of seven (7) days before Lebaran.

This religious THR payment is in accordance with Government Regulation number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages and Regulation of the Minister of Manpower number 6 of 2016 concerning Religious Holiday Allowances for Workers or Laborers in Companies.

"The provisions for the 2021 THR are as stipulated in Ministerial Regulation number 6 of 2016 that THR payments must be given D-7 before the holiday itself arrives," said Ida, in a virtual press conference, Monday, April 12.

For companies that are late and do not pay the 2021 religious THR to workers in accordance with what is regulated by the government, they may be subject to sanctions.

This policy is stated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 26 of 2021 concerning Wages.

Companies that do not provide THR for workers / laborers can be subject to sanctions, ranging from administrative sanctions to termination or freezing of business activities, and this is carried out in stages.

Meanwhile, companies that are unable to pay THR due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, are urged to immediately coordinate with the local government or provincial government in order to find the right solution.

The Ministry of Manpower has also established a Task Force for Consultation and Law Enforcement Services for the Implementation of THR Payments in 2021 at the center. This task force needs to be followed by the regions so that the implementation of the SE THR can run well and effectively and the realization of an agreement that can satisfy various parties.
