JAKARTA - PT Bank Digital BCA or BCA Digital noted that the average third party fund (DPK) collected by more than 2,500 teenage customers using bluAccount for Teens reached IDR 2.9 billion as of December 31, 2024.

With the total DPK as a whole, the average bluecount for Teens balance reaches more than IDR 1.1 million per account. The bluAccount for Teens or digital banking services for teenagers were only launched in the second semester of 2024.

"In a relatively short time, the bluAccount for Teens managed to gain high trust from teenagers who were chosen to start their financial journey," said BCA Digital President Director Lanny Budiati quoting Antara.

With a fairly high average balance, Lanny said that the teenagers who own bluAccount for Teens use the blue application not only to save but also to pay with QRIS and transact online using bluVirtual card such as ordering food, ordering online motorcycle taxis, and so on.

Thanks to the trust given by these customers, BCA Digital received an award from the Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) for the category 'digital banking service for teenagers with the highest average balance'.

Lanny said this award would be very meaningful for BCA Digital as support and encouragement in encouraging increased financial literacy and inclusion to the wider Indonesian people, especially for young people through bluAccount for Teens products.

For information, the bluAccount for Teens is a digital banking service for adolescents aged 12-17 years who do not yet have a Identity Card (KTP).

The bluAccount for Teens also features blueSaving, blueGether, and blueDeposit which are designed to make it easier for teenagers to save practically, manage expenses posts, to collaborate in fund management, all transactions that can be monitored by parents.

"The process of approval for account opening and monitoring of bluAccount for Teens transactions, everything is done online with a full digital process. So there is no need to go to the bank branch office," said Lanny.

Along with this achievement, BCA Digital held an event titled blueAcademy TGIF!: Teens Guide Into Finance which took place in Jakarta, Thursday (30/1).
