Sri Mulyani Reveals Realization Of 2024 State Expenditures Reaches IDR 3,350.3 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) noted that the realization of state spending in 2024 reached IDR 3,350.3 trillion, an increase of 7.3 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the same period last year of IDR 3,121.2 trillion.

Finance Minister Sri Mulyani said the realization of state spending in 2024 reached IDR 3,350.3 trillion or the equivalent of 100.8 percent of the 2024 APBN target of IDR 3,325.1 trillion.

"In terms of state spending, the temporary realization is Rp. 3,350.3 trillion, we see it is higher than the initial APBN of Rp. 3,325.1 trillion," he said at the KiTa State Budget press conference, on Monday, January 6.

However, Sri Mulyani said that state spending in 2024 consists of Central Government Expenditures of IDR 2,486.7 trillion, an increase of 11 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the same period last year.

This realization is equivalent to 100.8 percent of the 2024 State Budget target of IDR 2,467.5 trillion.

Sri Mulyani detailed that Central Government Expenditures consist of Ministry/Institutional Expenditures (K/L) reaching IDR 1,315.0 trillion, an increase of 14.1 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the same period last year. This realization is equivalent to 120.6 percent of the 2024 APBN target of IDR 1090.8 trillion.

Meanwhile, Non-Ministerial/Institutional Expenditures (K/L) reached IDR 1,171.7 trillion, an increase of 7.7 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy) when compared to the same period last year.

This realization is equivalent to 85.1 percent of the 2024 State Budget target which reached IDR 1,376.7 trillion.

Meanwhile, Sri Mulyani conveyed that state spending in 2024 for transfer expenditures to the regions reached IDR 863.5 trillion, down 2 percent (yoy) when compared to the same period last year.

This realization is equivalent to 100.7 percent of the 2024 State Budget target of IDR 857.6 trillion.
