JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) reported an increase in the consumption of Pertamax and gas fuel during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Utma Pertamina Patra Niaga's Director, Riva Siahaan, said that LPG consumption had increased by 1.8 percent, meanwhile Pertamax increased by 10 percent.
"Meanwhile, Pertalite's consumption quota is still in accordance with the quota. The increase in demand has been anticipated and everything is in smooth and safe condition," said Riva, quoted on Thursday, January 2.
The consumption was recorded during the Nataru Task Force period from December 16 to December 31, 2024.
Meanwhile, Pertamina President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri ensured the readiness of stock and energy distribution for the community.
