Mujahid 212 Grand Reunion, KAI Commuter Operates 1,048 Commuter Line Trips

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia or KAI Commuter operates 1,048 Jabodetabek Commuter Line trips today as an anticipatory measure for the enthusiasm of the public attending the Mujahid 212 Grand Reunion event around the Monas area.

VP Corporate Secretary of KAI Commuter, Joni Martinus said that KAI Commuter is taking the necessary steps, especially to maintain the safety and security of passengers using the Commuter Line. Moreover, it is estimated that the public will use the KRL more.

"KAI Commuter will operate 1,048 Jabodetabek Commuter Line trips as an anticipatory measure," he said in an official statement, Monday, December 2.

Meanwhile, regarding the number of security personnel, Joni continued, KAI Commuter will increase the number of officers from within and elements of the TNI to maintain security, comfort, and regulate user flow.

"The addition of security personnel is carried out at stations around the location of the activity," he said.

At Juanda Station, Joni continued, KAI Commuter has prepared 30 officers, at Gondangdia Station as many as 23 officers, and at Manggarai Station which is a transit station, there will be 40 officers.

"Officers will also blockade the station hall to limit congestion on the platform and ensure the safety and security of Commuter Line users," said Joni.

Joni said that based on monitoring user movements on weekdays, especially Mondays, it occurs in the morning at 06.00 WIB to 09.00 WIB and in the afternoon at 16.00 WIB to 19.00 WIB.

KAI Commuter appeals to all users to continue to prioritize safety and security, and to follow the directions and instructions of officers at the station.

"KAI Commuter also appeals to the public to always be orderly users for the sake of mutual safety," concluded Joni.
