Collaborating With Traces, Optiongo Becomes First Integrated In Calculation Of Office Travel Carbon Emissions

JAKARTA - In an innovative step to encourage a more sustainable work process, Optiongo, a company engaged in travel technology, has collaborated with Tracein, a climate technology company from Indonesia. The result of this collaboration is the integration of the carbon emission calculation system on every official trip made through the official travel management application Optioncorp.

The feature, which was first launched in Indonesia, allows users of Optioncorp to accurately find out the amount of carbon emissions produced from each official trip made using air transportation modes. Thus, users can make more sustainable travel options taking into account carbon emission factors.

The carbon emission calculation process is carried out automatically through integration between the Optioncorp application and the Tracelin carbon emission calculation platform. When the user searches for flight schedules, the app will display carbon emission estimates for any available flight options. This allows users to compare various flight options based on carbon emission factors, prices, and travel times.
