JAKARTA - The Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Yassierli revealed that there will be new rules regarding the provincial minimum wage (UMP) which will launch in the near future. He targets the new rules to launch at the end of November.
"Just wait. I have a target at the end of this month. Yes, early next month," said Yassieril, Monday, November 25.
Yassieril said that he had discussed a lot with President Prabowo Subianto, one of which was related to the progress of drafting the UMP which would be published in the form of a Minister of Manpower Regulation (Permenaker). Yassieril and his team have also formulated the right formula in determining the 2025 d UMP to receive a lot of input, both from trade unions and employers' associations.
"We accept input from trade union friends and there is also input, quite a lot, input from business friends, employers' associations and so on," explained Yassieril.
He ensured that in determining the latest UMP, his party would still be guided by the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning Job Creation.

Regarding the refusal from the workers, Yassieril said that what the workers were doing was not a form of rejection. On the other hand, he thinks it is an aspiration
