Olahkarsa And Ciputra University Launch Entrepreneurial Sustainability Management Cooperation Study Program

JAKARTA - Olahkarsa and Ciputra University signed a strategic partnership to present the Master Management Study, Entrepreneurial Sustainability Management Concentration. This program is part of the concentration of sustainability at the management master level, aiming to produce a generation of entrepreneurs who are able to integrate sustainability principles in their business model.

The signing of this collaboration was carried out on the campus of Ciputra University, Surabaya, and was attended by leaders from both institutions. Unggul Ananta, Co-Founder & CEO of Olahkarsa, stated that this collaboration is a strategic step to answer the business world's needs for leaders who are not only business-competent, but also have high awareness of sustainability.

"We want to support the progress of sustainability in Indonesia by providing a platform for developing entrepreneurs, who are able to answer global challenges as well as have a positive impact on society and the environment. This program is a tangible manifestation of our vision to encourage a greener and more inclusive business transformation," said Unggul, in a written statement, Thursday, November 20.

The Master Management Program, with the Entrepreneurial Concentration Sustainability Management offers a precademics-based learning approach, which is a combination of academic theory and practical experience. Students will be equipped with in-depth knowledge of sustainability, development of ESG-based business strategies (Environmental, Social, Governance), as well as positive impact social innovation.

In addition, this program also involves various methods such as analysis of case studies, group discussions, industrial-based projects, and field visits to companies that have implemented sustainability practices.

Damelina Basauli Tambunan, S.E., MM, Ph.D., CLC., CPM (Asia) Dean of the Faculty of School of Business and Management as a representative from Ciputra University added that this program was designed to answer the need for skilled human resources in the field of sustainability, as global demand for responsible business practices increases.

"We want to produce graduates who not only understand the concept of sustainability in theory, but are also able to implement it directly in the business world. With this, they will be the drivers of changes relevant to the times," said Damelina.

Through this collaboration, Olahkarsa and Ciputra University also open opportunities for students to participate in collaborative research, internships in industry, as well as project incubators that support the development of sustainability solutions. The hope is that this program will not only create graduates who excel in the field of sustainability, but also be able to inspire and drive change in their community.

Thus, this program is expected to have a broad impact, both at the local and global levels, towards creating a more sustainable future.
