PLN GMS Appoints Former Deputy Chairperson And Secretary Of TKN Prabowo Gibran As Commissioner

JAKARTA - The General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) of PT PLN (Persero) approved the reshuffle of the new commissioners and directors on Thursday, November 14.

For the Board of Commissioners, shareholders appointed Deputy Minister of SOEs Aminudin Ma'ruf as Commissioner.

Aminudin previously served as Secretary of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN).

The position of Independent commissioner is also occupied by Ali Masyikur, who has served as Deputy Chair of TKN Prabowo-Gibran

PLN's GMS also reappointed Deputy Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara as Deputy President Commissioner of PLN and honorably dismissed former Deputy Ministers of Energy and Mineral Resources, Archandra Tahar and Nawal Nely as commissioners.

Dudy Purwagandhi, who currently serves as Minister of Transportation, was also respectfully dismissed.

The GMS also confirmed the dismissal of Charles Sitorus as Independent Commissioner. Charles previously stumbled on a sugar import case from 2015 to 2016.

With these changes, the ranks of the PLN Board of Commissioners are as follows:

Aminuddin Ma'ruf as Commissioner 5. Dadan Kusdiana as Commissioner6. Jisman P. Hutajulu as Commissioner7. Mutantto Juwono as Independent Commissioner8. Andi Arief as Independent Commissioner9. Yazid Fanani as Independent Commissioner10. Ali Masykur Musa as Independent Commissioner

The GMS also re-elected Darmawan Prasodjo as President Director and Sinthya Roesly as Director of Finance.

With this appointment, the composition of PLN's Board of Directors is as follows:
