BUMN Work Harder Prabowo Subianto Era, Erick Thohir: Don't Be Surprised!

JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said SOEs will work harder in the next five years. This step is taken to achieve the target of self-sufficiency in food to create a green economy.

This was conveyed by Erick at the townhall meeting of the Ministry of SOEs quoted from Instagram @erickthohir, Thursday, October 31.

"In the next five years, SOEs will work even harder to realize the vision of President Prabowo Subianto, especially achieving food self-sufficiency targets, encouraging energy security and creating a green economy," said Erick.

Therefore, Erick also reminded SOEs not to be surprised by the much tougher work pattern in the future.

"Don't be surprised if later in the government, which today is led by Pak Prabowo, we will certainly expect more extra work in accordance with the food self-sufficiency speech, not to mention the solution to the energy we are pushing forward to the ESG, one of which is the green economy," he said.

On this occasion, Erick said that for the past five years, SOEs focused on massive transformation. This transformation has also yielded results.

One of the results is the largest dividend contribution in history. But we are not complacent," he explained.
