Becoming Deputy Minister Of Energy And Mineral Resources, This Is Yuliot Tanjung's Wealth

JAKARTA - The President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Prabowo Subianto, appointed Yuliot Tanjung as Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

"Yuliot MM, Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources," Prabowo said when announcing the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet, Sunday, October 20.

Appointed to accompany the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, Yuliot is known to have a total wealth of Rp12.01 billion consisting of land and buildings with a total of Rp8.27 billion.

Based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN), Yuliot's land and buildings are scattered in a number of areas. Yuliot owns 4 plots of land and buildings in Bogor City, a plot of land covering an area of 44,000 m2 in Padang Pariaman City, Land and a plot of land and buildings in Padang Panjang, land and buildings in South Jakarta. Yuliot also owns 108 m2 land and buildings in Bekasi and 53 m2 of land in West Jakarta.

In terms of transportation and machinery, Yuliot is known to have a 4-wheeled Tranlong Tractor in 2019 for IDR 80 million, a Honda HRV car in 2021 worth IDR 280 million, a Toyota Fortuner car in 2022 worth IDR 595 million, and a Toyota Raize car in 2022 worth IDR 230 million.

Yuliot has other movable assets worth Rp55 million, a letter worth Rp1 billion and cash and cash equivalents of Rp1.26 billion. Yuliot is known to have a debt of Rp300 million.

Just so you know, Yuliot has served as Deputy Minister of Investment/Deputy Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM). The man who was born in Padang Panjang, October 6, 61 years ago, graduated from Livestock Production at Andalas University and the Management Master of the PPM Management College.

Prior to becoming Deputy Minister of Investment, Yuliot had served as Head of the BKPM Representative Office in Taiwan, Head of the Planning and Information Bureau, Director of Domestic Promotion, Director of Regional Implementation Control II, to Director of Deregulation.

After serving as Deputy for Investment Climate Development as of October 2020-September 2023, Yuliot was mandated to become Deputy for Control of the Implementation of Main Expert Investment at the Ministry of Investment/BKPM until June 2024.
