Waskita Beton's Managing Director Examined 1 Hour As Witness In The MBZ Toll Corruption Allegation Case

JAKARTA - President Director of PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) FX Poerbayu Ratsunu fulfilled the invitation of the Attorney General's Office to be a witness in the alleged corruption in the construction of the MBZ Toll Road.

"Only one hour, Pak Purbayu gave testimony as a witness to the AGO's investigative team on Monday, September 23 at 13.00 WIB to 14.00 WIB regarding the filing in the case," said WSBP Corporate Secretary Fandy Dewanto as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, September 26.

He said Purbayu was asked to provide information to the Investigating Prosecutor Team from the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jam Pidsus).

Fandy emphasized that FX Purbayu was present as a witness for his position as President Director of WSBP, not directly related to the project or case.

"Pak Purbayu and WSBP respect the entire legal process and cooperate in providing data and information needed by investigators," he said.

FX Purbayu has served as President Director of WSBP since December 2021.

Fandy stated that the Waskita President Director had provided full transparency information in the brief examination.

Separately, the Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, said that the examination of FX Purbayu was carried out as part of the investigation of the case with the suspect DP, based on the Investigation Order Number: Prin-51/F.2/Fd.2/08/2024 dated August 6, 2024.

"This witness examination aims to strengthen the evidence and complete the filing," he said.
