JAKARTA - The 2024 Safe Work Indonesia Exhibition officially starts today, at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 25. The exhibition presents various leading solutions in the field of Work Safety and Health (K3) which are relevant to all industrial sectors in Indonesia.
Director of Safe Work Indonesia, Ferdian Lo, revealed that Safe Works 2024 is the first and only exhibition in Indonesia related to K3.
"When we released, we provided socialization to all stakeholders, including the government, associations, especially associations under the auspices of the industry," said Ferdian.
Furthermore, Ferdian said, the main target of the K3 exhibition is to become a forum or gathering place, because he assesses that so far there has been no specific or special platform in the K3 industry.
"We don't just want to gather and also exchange information or exchange knowledge, but also want to have an impact, want to contribute, show the industry. We exist, industry or industrial associations exist, and want to support and make a real contribution to the K3 industry in Indonesia," he said.
From this event, he admitted that there was no specific target number to be achieved. However, the target of this exhibition is none other than to increase economic growth or industrial development, especially in the world of K3.
"We want to have a real impact and provide solutions for industries related to products, developments, and also perhaps information and regulations in the field of K3 which are indeed very weak in Indonesia," he explained.
On the same occasion, the Director of Labor Norm Examination at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), Yuli Adiratna stated that his party supports this activity because it is a strategic activity involving the industrial world and associations or organizations working in the field of K3.
"We are very supportive because we can provide good insight for the government to encourage the development and implementation of the K3 that we really need," he said.

K3, continued Yuli, must be adjusted to changes in work patterns, changes in equipment and also changes in technology must be adjusted.
"K3 is closely related to the safety of the human soul. Without K3, we can't be good. So everything is aimed at how to protect the human soul, the safety of the human soul. Whatever it does is that way," he said.
For information, apart from being attended by 40 Indonesian K3 industrial companies, the exhibition was also enlivened by the K3 industry from other countries such as China, Malaysia, from Singapore, South Korea and Japan.
