Asia Pacific Coatings Show Officially Opened In Jakarta, Welcomes Paint And Layer Industry From Around The World

JAKARTA - Asia Pacific Coatings Show officially opened today, Wednesday 11 September. The opening ceremony was officially held by the Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Cat Producers (APPI), Kris Adidarma; Chairman of the Materials Protection & Performance Association (AMPP) in Indonesia and the Indonesian Coating Association (Ascoatindo), Yacobus Wirawan; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Exhibition Companies (ASPERAPI), Hosea Andreas Runkat; together with Paddy O'Neill, Associate Vice President The Coatings Group, dmg events, at the Jakarta Convention Center Convention Center, Indonesia.

After the opening, invited guests toured the exhibition area to meet well-known exhibitionists in the paint and coating industry, including Allnex Resins Indonesia, Inoue-nissei Engineering, Mata Pelangi Chemindo, Galic Bina Mada, WWRC Indonesia, Buhler Indonesia, NETZSCH, Biuged Laboratory Instruments, and Indopcri.

For three days (11-13 September 2024), visitors can interact with more than 230 leading brands coming from 15 countries and representing the entire coating industry segment, from suppliers of raw materials to equipment manufacturers. This event is a major platform for industry players to find new products and solutions and explore recent innovations, trends, and opportunities.

Paddy O'Neill, Associate Vice President of The Coatings Group at the event, said the exhibition looked amazing.

The conference with the theme 'Creating a better world through pain' which starts today presents the Director of Orr & Boss Consulting, Doug Bohn, who discussed an overview of the global coating market.

Then, the CEO of Propan Raya, Kris Adidarmas, gave a presentation on environmentally friendly innovation in the field of construction and its role in encouraging sustainability. There is also the CEO of Lia S. Associates Branding & Design, Dr Amelia Sdik, who discusses sustainable branding in the paint industry. Finally, Senior Director for Marketing & Innovation, Conell Caldic, Dr Nurudin Budiman, raised environmental issues such as air pollutants and explored more environmentally friendly paint technology initiatives.

On September 12 (day 2), the Business Presentations Hub will feature the latest products and innovations from various companies participating in the exhibition. This activity also offers unique opportunities for visitors to explore offers from companies such as B\"ohler Group, ABB, Levaco Chemicals, and others.

No less interesting, visitors can take part in the Color Mixology Competition in collaboration with Trycolors. In this competition, participants must choose the color that matches the color of the target displayed in a short time. Winners will be named Color Mixology Champion and get attractive prizes.
