Deputy Minister Of Finance Thomas Djiwandono Reveals Strengthening Of The Cintax System Reaches IDR 549.39 Billion

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Finance II Thomas Djiwandono said the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) would strengthen the Cross System by allocating a budget of IDR 549.39 billion.

"Strengthening the implementation of the coretax system, along with the coretax system deployment requires strengthening of human resources through the appointment and training of jafung, strengthening IT support and maintenance, improving business processes and strengthening regulations with an allocation of IDR 549.39 billion," said Thomas during a working meeting of the Ministry of Finance with Commission XI of the DPR, Monday, September 9.

Thomas said the budget was part of the Ministry of Finance's action strategy and plan to achieve the tax revenue target for the 2025 fiscal year which amounted to Rp2,189.3 trillion.

"Along with the increasing target of tax revenue, which is Rp. 2189.3 trillion earlier, we have drawn up strategies and action plans to achieve this target," he explained.

In addition to strengthening the coretax system, Thomas said that the Ministry of Finance has prepared several other strategies for collaboration in the field of effective state revenue.

Third, strengthening organizations and human resources (HR) through employee functionalization and increasing HR competence.

The fourth Starategi is improving business processes. For example, said Thomas, through supervision of strategic taxpayers.

Then (the fifth) is strengthening IT and data. For example, through collecting data on agencies, institutions, associations, and other parties. And the last (sixth) is strengthening regulations in the fields of economics, receipts and ease of investment," he said.
