Government Launches Pope Francis' Stamps, Check Out How To Buy It

JAKARTA - The government officially launched the Pope Francis series stamp with a unique design that reflects the spirit of togetherness and peace. This stamp was launched in celebration of Pope Francis' historic visit to the country.

The stamp in the series of Pope Francis' arrival to Indonesia was issued by PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) and printed by Peruri.

Citing Instagram @posindonesia.ig, Thursday, September 5, the Pope Francis series stamp is sold for limited. The sale of this stamp is done online through the PosPay application, or it can be easily through Filateli.co.id.

"In celebration of Pope Francis' state visit to Indonesia on September 3 to 6, 2024. PosIND issued a stamp on Pope Francis' visit series," wrote Pos Indonesia.

Apart from going online, people who want to buy special series stamps for Pope Francis' visit can also come directly to a number of post offices, namely the Filateli Jakarta Office,

KCU Bandung, KCU Yogyakarta, KCU Semarang, KCU Solo, KCU Surabaya, KCU Malang, KC Cimahi, and KCU Pontianak.

"Get this limited series stamp starting in September 2024, and be part of an unforgettable history," wrote Pos Indonesia.

Launching the Filateli.co.id page, Pos Indonesia launched three types of stamps for Pope Francis' visit to Indonesia. This limited edition stamp was released with a nominal value of IDR 3,500 and IDR 40,000.

First, the First Day Cover type is in the form of an envelope with the design of Pope Francis equipped with two stamps worth Rp. 3,500. This envelope is sold for Rp. 20,000 per sheet.

Second, the Full Sheet type or full sheet contains 18 stamp pieces worth Rp. 3,500. This type is sold at a price of Rp. 63,000 per sheet.

Finally, the Souvenir Sheet type contains two stamps worth IDR 40,000. This series can be purchased at a price of IDR 80,000 per sheet.

However, the three types of stamps for Pope Francis' arrival to Indonesia are no longer available. On the Filateli.co.id page, in each series it says stock is not available or stocks are not available.
