JAKARTA - Gojek has decided to close business activities in Vietnam, starting from September 16, 2024.
GoTo Corporate Secretary Koesoemohadiani said that his party made this strategic decision in order to focus more on developing and strengthening operational activities that could provide potential for significant growth in a sustainable manner.
"Our business in Vietnam contributed less than 0.5 percent of the GoTo Group's GTV and 2 percent of the GTV on-demand services in the second quarter of 2024," he said in a statement received by VOI, Thursday, September 5.
